Race 1: In a quiet betting race Message To Martha was very hard to lay and bookies were 2.40 at jump time with no takers. The phone money came for the winner Red Heavy with a bet of $1000 at 3.80 as well as good cash bets at 3.40 to give bookies a bad start.

Race 2: Another quiet betting race; with good specking for Cliveden at 9 and small bets taken on Trump It at 41. The short-price favourite Bella Occhi was too short for the average punter and bookies were 1.50 at jump time with no takers. The winner Viceman was 31 and paid unders on the tote.

Race 3: Here there was small phone money on Von Richter at 7.50 and Dazet at

10. Hinchinsty­le was backed off course and the money came back to the track at

3.50. The early favourite in

Wow Factor was a drifter from 2.60 to start 3.20 on track. A heady ride by Emma Ljung (pictured) took the winner Wow Factor to the lead and it was all over at the top of the straight. Race 4: There was small specking for Sir Bam at 13. The punters then put it down to two runners in Mishani Rainman and Conquering Lass. They both traded as favourite at some stage in betting. In the end the price came in on Conquering Lass to start favourite at 2.40 and a classic ride by Ron Goltz put bookies back in the corner. Race 5: Another race were bookies found it hard to lay the two short priced runners in Lope De lady at 2.20 and Strykingly So at 3.40. There was small specking for the winner First Witness at 13 to give bookies a small loss on the race. Race 6: There was good money for Dreamtimer a 11. Bookies got to lay Coco Monsieur at 2.30 and there was one phone bet of $2000 at 2.30. Eight Over was backed early at 2 with one cash bet of $2000 at the 2. This sent bookies home square on the night.
