Congratulations to the Division 1 Pennants team on its win in the Downs District Pennants final last Saturday against West Toowoomba at Pittsworth. Over the course of the season the side had only two rink losses. Thanks to all players in both teams for your commitment in representing our club. The club will host a barbecue with food supplied on Saturday, October 20 at 1pm for all players and supporters. Drinks will be happy-hour prices. The winners now goes to the zone stage were the Downs and Cunningham sides meet to see which side qualifies for the State Division 1 Pennants Championships. North Toowoomba will play Booval Swifts at Toowoomba Bowls Club at 10.30am on Saturday, October 13. All semi-finals of fours competition are now to be completed by October 21. Play, sub or forfeit. Championship pairs and C-grade singles first round to be completed by October 28. Nominations for the A grade singles, triples and mixed pairs close at 5pm on October 28. Entry fee $10 per player.
