Global company has a new home

COLLIERS International Toowoomba is pleased to announce the successful lease of 41 Carrington Road, Torrington.

With a large volume of heavy vehicle and domestic traffic, Carrington Road is a major transport route which provides access to Toowoomba from the west, situated just 8km from the CBD.

Colliers International Toowoomba, managing director Dan Dwan (pictured right) says that this asset will be tenanted by widely recognised, global transport and logistics company Mainfreight.

"Mainfreight provides an end-to-end freight service including warehousing, domestic distribution and international air and ocean services," he said.

"Whether you are sending a pallet down the road, a full truck load to the other side of the country or shipments across the globe, Mainfreight offers on-the-ground services to help you get your products into the hands of your customers, wherever they may be."

Mr Dwan further commented that this is a positive sign for the Toowoomba industrial property market.

"We are seeing increased demand from interstate and overseas operators wanting to establish their businesses in the Toowoomba region," he added.

Commercial sales and leasing agent Mike Turley (pictured left) says the Second Range Crossing and Warrego Highway access will further complement this prominent industrial location.

"When negotiating the lease, there were early signs the increase in development activity in Toowoomba was filtering into the industrial property market," he said.

"Positioned on 12,390sqm, the highly functional industrial complex received significant interest and additional operators remain in the market searching for suitable premises," he said.
