Race 1: The connections were on Westbrook Warrior at 21. By The law saw good money at 12 and Ben Currie’s record continued with the southern purchase of Bequeathed. The on-track bookie bet 2 on Bequeathed (pictured) and saw one phone bet of $2000 at that quote and smaller cash bets on track. Bequeathed was a strong win and bookies started with a fair loss.

Race 2: A quiet betting race here. There was small specking for Dinisty at 5. The winner in Peak Hill defied the drift and was 4 on track at jump time with no takers.

Race 3: This was the best betting race of the night and the bookie got to lay all runners. Tracy’s Echo was backed pre post at 7 and Makemyday saw good money at 10. Top Luck was backed late at 8. The winner Wearetenfortyeight was backed on the QOP from 18 to start at 13. The Bokie was 14 with no takers.

Race 4: The favourite Foxleigh was easy to lay at 2.40. There was small specking for Gratsie at 7.50. Proud Captain was 3 with no takers. The winner Jet ‘N’ Wild was 5.50 on track and paid well “unders” on the tote.

Race 5: Ruby Guru was the bookie’s favourite and was specked at 9. Red Prince was too short at 1.80 and hard to lay. The winner in Shuda Known Better saw small money at 2.70 for a break-square result.

Race 6: The betting had it down to two runners in Fomo and The Real Boss. In the end the money came for Fomo backed from 2.60 into 2.50 with a cash bet of $1000 on track at 2.50. Fomo cleared out for home at the turn and was eased down on the line.

Race 7: Ausbred Dream was specked at 12 and Kamilaroi saw money at 17. The betting flipped between Kimhorsedashian and Strykingly So. The bookies put them together and broke square on the race to go home a slight loser .
