Centenary Taylor-made

-

WELL-known and respected Toowoomba firm Taylor’s Removals is this year celebrating 100 years in business.

From humble beginnings with a horse and dray, four generations of the family have been involved in the business which now has a modern-day fleet of vehicles.

Company managing director Melissa Taylor said the family was proud of reaching the centenary milestone.

“Whilst we have ventured into other projects and other areas over the years, our focus has always been on our core business — furniture relocations and storage services,” she said.

“We are very humbled to have received such significant support from the Toowoomba community.

“Supporting ‘local’ is such an important part of our ethos.

“Toowoomba is home to some of Australia’s best and oldest business families.

“Each generation of our business has built on our reputation for quality their parents, grandparents and great-grandparents worked so hard to establish.”

The Taylor families, friends and business associates gathered to celebrate the business’ centenary with a function at Gabbinbar Homestead on Wednesday night.

Company proprietor Ray Taylor said the family was proud to celebrate such a milestone and looked forward to a wonderful year of reliving special memories.

“We pride ourselves on our service offering and we are focussed on providing not only local but national and international specialised services with local and personalised attention from our staff,” he said.
