CHAMBER OF COMMERCE Judging under way for annual business awards

- JO SHEPPARD Chamber CEO

APPLICATIONS for the Heritage Bank 2018 Business Excellence Awards have now closed and judging is currently under way with finalists expected to be announced on Friday, October 26.

Our annual business awards program is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to review and recognise what they have achieved and also take a moment to consider the road ahead and their business goals for the future.

Each year, a team of independent judges are tasked with the often very difficult job of judging businesses applying for recognition to individual categories.

This year Chamber announced the introduction of the new category of Future Leader of the Year which is closely aligned with our Future Leaders program.

We have seen strong interest in this new category with 17 applications from our young business community.

I would like to thank Heritage Bank and all category
