Great rewards for being Town Proud

-

NEED a little extra spending money for Christmas?

The Chronicle’s Town Proud promotion could have you rolling in cash this holiday season with $3000, $2000 and $1000 prizes up for grabs.

The Town Proud concept is a great initiative that encourages Toowoomba residents and visitors to shop in our city and support our local businesses.

The rewards are ongoing as every dollar you spend in the region strengthens the local economy – ultimately building a thriving and prosperous community.

And it’s so easy to get involved.

From Saturday, November 3, all you have to do is spend $5 or more at the Town Proud business of your choice, keep your receipts, and then drop the entry forms into The Chronicle office at 109 Neil St. Simple.

And while savvy shoppers have the chance to clean up, business owners can also share in the good fortune throughout November.

Proud local businesses can join the promotion for just $49 which will provide them with branding posters, stickers, badges, bunting and balloons; as well as a repeated listing in The Chronicle’s regular Town Proud advertisements.

It’s a great opportunity to stand out from the crowd and instantly tells customers the business is a part of this popular “shop local” initiative.

On top of this, owners then go in the draw to win a $5000 advertising package with The Chronicle – the perfect marketing accompaniment in the lead-in to the bustling December shopping period.

Foundation sponsors are USQ and Joyce Mayne.

Supporting sponsors are Toowoomba Regional Council, John McVeigh, Heritage Bank, Angliss Meats and Bernoth Poperties.
