After three months of witnessing the hard yakka of The Block contestant­s renovate the dilapidate­d Gatwick in St Kilda, they have almost become like furniture – or family. Tonight’s finale is a tiny bit sad because we say goodbye to Norm and Jess, Kerrie and Spence (pictured) and the rest of the crew. But the anticipati­on is high to find out who will walk away from the show the winner. Past seasons have served up a mixed bag, with some couples walking away with virtually no prize money, while others have pocketed almost $1 million. Will the softening real estate market be kind to the contestant­s tonight?

Game Of Games WIN, 7.30pm

Pint-sized host Grant Denyer is often affectiona­tely called a pocket rocket, but the vivacious and energised contestant­s in this action-packed new series really take the cake. Put simply, Game of

Games is not the sort of show you want to watch after a big weekend of overindulg­ing. The frenetic pace and wacky segments will only make that lingering headache worse. But if you’re keen for a hefty dose of silliness and an overload of surprised faces, this Ellen DeGeneres creation is full of fun. Featuring contestant­s who are chosen from the audience, and a $50,000 prize up for grabs.

Kevin McCloud’s Top 10 ABC, 7.40pm

The hosts of Grand Designs in the UK and Australia bond over seamless and inspiring design as they collate a list of the most impressive abodes to feature on Grand Designs Australia series so far – on free-to-air TV, at least. It’s a bit of a thrill to witness the personalit­ies compare notes and share banter and relative newcomer Maddison holds his own with the veteran host. Filmed in a modernist, national trust-listed home in Surrey, England, McCloud reveals his love of bold Aussie design.
