City jeweller designs one-of-a-kind pieces
EWEN Ryley fell in love with crystals and gemstones from a young age. Now, for a living, he turns them into stunning pieces of jewellery.
Mr Ryley has been a jeweller for almost 15 years and this month is celebrating owning and operating his own business in Toowoomba for five years.
Ryley Jewellery Creations specialises in one-of-a-kind pieces. His natural style is modern art deco but he also enjoys creating miniature animals and creatures in his jewellery pieces.
Mr Ryley said to achieve this he used both old and new techniques including laser welding and digital printing technologies.
“I try to add in features which really speak to the wearer which as result makes them very individual,” he said.
“I also pride myself on my quality, which is why I am able to offer a lifetime warranty with all of my creations.”
Mr Ryley is also a big supporter of charities in Toowoomba.
“Ever since I started this business, I wanted to get myself into a position where I could contribute more towards the community,” he said.
“The best way for me to do this is by donating some of my pieces to various charities so they can raise money for their vital services.
“Our two major charities we currently support are LifeFlight and the Black Dog Institute.”
Mr Ryley is now giving back to his clients as part of his five-year milestone celebrations.
During the month of November, he is giving away holidays to either Thailand or Bali for clients who spend more than $2000.
“I am so excited to have the opportunity to gift these amazing holidays to my clients and to say thank you to everyone who has supported me in my journey so far,” he said.
Ryley Jewellery Creations is in The Chronicle Arcade off Margaret St.
