Acclaimed singer-songwriter James Reyne hits regional Aussie roads with his new A Crawl to Now tour

-

WITH a massive line-up of venues and towns, acclaimed singer-songwriter James Reyne has announced his latest tour, A Crawl to Now.

The huge regional run, from February through to May next year, will hit four states including Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, with a single show slated for South Australia.

Toowoomba will be one of only two Queensland cities to score the live show.

Reyne will be joined by guitarist Josh Owen in acoustic duo format.

“The A Crawl to Now show is a comprehensive look at the past unto the present,” Reyne said in announcing the tour schedule.

“I’ve sifted through all of the Australian Crawl material with the intention of performing it ‘songbook’ style.

“And to bring out the solo material again and re-imagine those songs acoustically is always a challenge.

“The last time we toured this show it was a lot of fun - Josh and I are looking forward to doing it all again in 2019.”

A Crawl to Now is a 90-minute live show that will feature songs selected from more than 20 albums.

It represents an extensive catalogue sure to trigger memories of fans Reyne has amassed over the years.

As Reyne teased, the tour will feature songs from Australian Crawl as well as his own solo material and some special projects, from the beginning of his career through to now.

A Crawl to Now will play the Armitage Centre in Toowoomba on Friday, May 17.
