Bringing home the magic of Christmas

-

SAMANTHA Jade has a lot to celebrate this Christmas as she releases her debut Christmas album The Magic of Christmas through Sony Music Entertainment Australia.

The Magic of Christmas is packed with festive favourites including I’ll Be Home For

Christmas, White Christmas, and Silent Night, conveying the joy and warmth of the holiday.

It is produced by Rick Price and was recorded in Nashville earlier this year.

In addition, fans are treated to three brand new Christmas-inspired tracks, including title track The Magic of Christmas Time featuring Jade’s long-time friend and mentor Guy Sebastian, and Home, a track written by Samantha herself.

“Christmas is my favourite time of year, and spending Christmas at home with my loved ones has always been a precious tradition for me. I hope my fans find the same joy sharing this music with their families and friends,” Samantha said.

Coinciding with the release of the album and in the spirit of the holiday, Samantha Jade announced her involvement with The Salvation Army as the 2018 Christmas ambassador, helping support its work this festive season.

Christmas is the busiest time of year for the Salvos, which will distribute 500,000 gifts and toys and serve over 160,000 meals to those in need.

Seeing the work of The Salvation Army has inspired Samantha Jade to volunteer and help spread joy across the country.

At the end of this month, Samantha will travel to her home state of Western Australia with the Salvos to tour and give her time at a number of Salvation Army services.

“I feel extremely proud to be affiliated with The Salvation Army for another year as their Christmas Ambassador. The work that they do for families in need throughout the year and especially during the festive season is remarkable and extremely moving,” she said. The album features a bonus track, This

Candle Time of Year, inspired by the Salvos and recorded with a Salvation Army choir.
