Small Business Expo set to be absolutely massive

- JO SHEPPARD Chamber CEO

A COLLABORATION between a range of stakeholders will see The Small Business Expo held in Toowoomba this Friday, November 23, from 10am – 4pm at the Clive Berghofer Recreation Centre.

This is a sales focused expo specifically for small businesses and with 145 stalls already booked, it is promising to be a great event.

Small business is an important part of our local economy and community and The Small Business Expo will provide a platform for SME’s to promote their products and services whilst building their businessto-business and business-tocustomer opportunities.

There will be speaker sessions on the day, exhibitor prizes to be won, a digital tech HUB as well as government info in the Biz HUB, live music and food vans. It is free to attend so make sure you get out the Clive Berghofer Recreation Centre at some stage during the day and get to know some of the fantastic local businesses who will be exhibiting.

Small businesses are fundamental to the health of the economy employing approximately half of our region’s workforce and making up about 20% of the region’s gross domestic product.

Small business operators traverse across all sectors in the region from retail, food services, accommodation and agriculture right through to education, healthcare and transport. A big thank you to the Small Business Expos team as well as the many local businesses and stakeholders who have made the Expo possible.
