‘‘ WE CHOSE THE PYJAMA FOUNDATION BECAUSE OF THE EXCEPTIONAL WORK THEY DO IN CREATING POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS FOR AUSTRALIAN CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE.

AFTER the success of its inaugural Long Lunch for charity, the girls behind Like Minded Women Toowoomba are staging another Long Lunch.

This time the lunch will benefit The Pyjama Foundation and The Pyjama Foundation Reading Ambassador Nick Earls will be guest speaker.

“We chose The Pyjama Foundation because of the exceptional work they do in creating positive relationships for Australian children in foster care,” founder of Like Minded Women Toowoomba Teale Ring explained.

The group’s inaugural lunch last year, which had rugby league personality Scott Sattler as guest speaker, raised an incredible $9000 for Manna House.

“We look forward to replicating that in 2018 with The Pyjama Foundation,” Mrs Ring said.

The Long Lunch will be held at Laurel Bank Park at 50 Hill St from 11am for a noon lunch on Friday, November 30. Tickets are $130 a head. For more information and to obtain tickets go to http://www.ticketebo.com.au/ like-minded-womentoowoomba/longlunch-2018.html

“We invite you to join us at this exciting event to contribute to the community while enjoying gourmet food and beverages, served in the shade of an elegant and cool marquee located among beautiful florals,” Mrs Ring said.

“This event offers a relaxed and fresh atmosphere for executives, business owners and people working within any industry that networks, forms relationships and looks to support other businesses outside the office while raising muchneeded funds for The Pyjama Foundation.”

Like Minded Women Toowoomba was the brainchild of principal Teale Ring of Professionals Insight Realty.

“I started it as a way for women in business to support and help each other,” Mrs Ring explained.

“The women-only business referral group provides business networking and so much more.

“We support each other, share our business experiences and give each other referrals.”

While run by Like Minded Women Toowoomba, the Long Lunch charity event is open to women and men of all walks of life.

We live here ‘cos we love it!
