La Taste praised for delicious pizzas
A TOOWOOMBA pizza place which uses fresh, local ingredients has been named the best in town.
La Taste, at 630 Ruthven St, has been owned and operated by Paul and Katie Worrall for seven years.
As part of The Chronicle’s Best Of series for 2018, Facebook readers were asked to nominate their favourite pizza place in Toowoomba.
La Taste was voted number one, praised for its huge pizzas with endless toppings.
Mr Worrall said what made his pizzas stand out was fresh ingredients and the care that went into making each and every one.
“Our pizzas are made locally and fresh to order. We have fresh dough that is rolled out every morning and local fresh ingredients to provide a variety of flavours,” he said.
“They also have a slightly thicker base and plenty of toppings.”
Not only does La Taste offer delicious pizza, it sells gourmet pasta, risotto, ribs and nachos, burgers, fish and chicken.
There are $12 lunch specials that CBD business workers take full advantage of.
Mr Worrall said it was wonderful to hear so many people enjoyed his food.
“We are overwhelmed and very excited to hear that so many people are loving our food,” he said.
“We appreciate the love and support from our community and we will continue to provide quality service and amazing food for everyone to enjoy.”
La Taste offers pick-up and delivery. It is open from Tuesday to Saturday.
