This Thursday’s ‘jackpot’ is $90 plus a dollar for every person playing today, but you must be present at the draw after the game to win.

Clubhouse and amenities will be open from 10am daily. Roll up or practice must be east-west. Check with bar staff.

Tomorrow night, Friday, a two-course meal available from 6pm to 7.15pm. Men’s kitchen roster is team one.

Next Tuesday mixed Jackpot pairs starting at 1pm. Names can be phoned in from 11am if you are interested in a game. This is a great opportunity to introduce new players for a social game of lawn bowls.

Wednesday night bowls are now back this is another opportunity to take up lawn bowls and learn from accredited coaches.

Dates for the diary:This weekend and only tomorrow, Friday from 4pm two (2) games of 10 ends of open mixed or otherwise $500 pairs and on Saturday, November 24 is the $3000 Specsavers over 60’s triples with three games from 9am.

Last weekend, the K and R Plumbing Grundon fours carnival was an outstanding success with teams vying for round and overall prize money. Congratulations to the winners of the carnival, Jessie Slater’s team with North Toowoomba’s Jake Rynne’s team winning the runner’s up overall prize. Third was Jay Singh’s team. Thanks again to our many sponsors and our enthusiastic team of volunteers that enabled the event to run so smoothly and events organiser Greg Andersen. A special thanks to Rendell Stansbie for his upgrading of scores, round winners and overall results management.

Again the resounding message is that our greens are in great condition thanks to greenkeeper Dave Howard. Finally a big thank-you to our very own Peter Rookas whose professionalism and contribution to our club is outstanding.
