Reggae fest coming to Irish Club

-

A SUNDAY session with a difference is coming to Toowoomba next month.

The Queensland International Ska and Reggae Festival will deliver the vibes and sounds at the Irish Club Hotel on Sunday, December 2.

There’s a top line-up of music for the festival, with family friendly vibes and great Caribbean food, kicking off from 1pm.

Festival favourites the Sunny Coast Rudy Boys will headline and are sure to fill the dance floor as they are known to do with their classic 2Tone and Ska hits from the likes of The Specials, Madness, UB40, and The Beat.

Brisbane band Sol Tradas will kick off the day with their soulful Caribbean style.

Spinning classic vintage vinyl throughout the day is DJ Sunny Dread, all the way from Kingston, Jamaica.

He’ll be bringing the sounds of London’s Notting Hill Carnival, direct to the iconic live music venue on Russell St in Toowoomba.

Sambazzy will add a huge splash of colour with their vibrant Brazilian dance costumes and of Latin drummers.

Caribbean cocktails and Jamaican barbecue will break up the time on the dance floor.

Entry for under-18s is free while tickets for adults are $25.30.
