RE/MAX Success has taken three finalist spots as the Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) announces its 2019 Awards for Excellence contenders.

The real estate business is one of six finalists for Regional Residential Agency of the Year.

Its broker/owner, Katie Knight, is a Property Manager of the Year finalist, and RE/MAX Success general manager, Daniel Burrett, is one of three finalists for Regional Salesperson of the Year.

RE/MAX Australia can boast four finalists in total for the 2019 REIQ awards with Cyndi Ward, co-owner of RE/MAX Gold in Gladstone, joining Ms Knight in the seven-strong competition for the top property management title.

"These people represent the best in the Queensland real estate profession," said RE/MAX Australia managing director, Michael Davoren, "and the REIQ has said the calibre of entrants this year was outstanding.

"These finalists set the benchmark for success not just in RE/MAX Australia but in the real estate industry itself.

"We wish all the finalists the best of luck as they vie for recognition and their profession's highest honour," he said.

Ms Knight and Ms Ward serve on the RE/MAX Australia Property Asset Management Committee, which is dedicated to increasing the focus on property management within RE/MAX and the real estate industry itself.

REIQ award winners will be announced at a gala awards dinner to be held at the Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane on March 16, 2019.
