Sunset wedding for Natasha and Patrick

-

NATASHA Zabel and Patrick Brown enjoyed a traditional wedding ceremony at Laidley.

The couple had about 120 guests travel to the Redeemer Lutheran Church for the ceremony.

Mrs Brown said it was a lovely day celebrated with friends with family.

“Everything went to plan which made the day relaxing,” she said.

“The weather was perfect when we had the photos taken at my grandparents’ property.

The reception was held at the Laidley Cultural Centre.

The couple hired local cake maker Ann Bichel to make them a three-tiered cake.

“The layers of the cake were fruit cake, caramel and chocolate.

Mrs Brown said the cake was delicious and enjoyed by the guests.

The couple’s family and friends helped with a few aspects of the wedding.

“Patrick’s step-mother made the bouquet and the cake decorations for us,” she said.

The bride received her dress at Valentine Bridal in Toowoomba.

The couple spent a couple of nights at Montville and then several nights at Alexandra Headlands on their honeymoon.

Mrs Brown said the couple enjoyed a lot of gourmet food when in Montville.

“Montville is a very lovely place to stay at,” she said.
