Relay for life rolls around

-

DALBY: Cancer Council Relay For Life is coming back to Dalby, and registrations are now open.

The relay, which will be held at Dalby Showgrounds on October 12–13, aims to raise much-needed funds for the Cancer Council.

Teams participate in a relay-style walk or run, passing a baton among each other.

Cancer Council Queensland CEO Chris McMillan said the relay was just as important as ever.

“Around 2040 people are diagnosed with cancer each year in south west Queensland and Relay For Life enables us to reach out and support those people,” Ms McMillan said.

The cost to register a team now is $20 however prices increase as the closing date for registration nears.
