Four-time champion back in Toowoomba

-

SPEEDWAY: Newcastle’s Adam Clarke is considered to be one of Australian speedcar racing’s greatest ever drivers.

The four-times national speedcar titleholder has proven his versatility and his raw ability on countless stages across Australia and the USA and the “Hunter Valley Hurricane” shows little sign of slowing down.

Last weekend at Sydney’s Valvoline Raceway he sped to victory in round four of the HiTec Oils Ultimate Speedway Challenge and tomorrow night he looks to go back-to-back in terms of Challenge wins at Toowoomba and also consecutive weekends.

Clarke won the first round of the Ultimate Speedway Challenge at Toowoomba late last year and he’ll prove hard to stop tomorrow night as well.

Narrowly missing out on a chance to win his fifth Australian speedcar title at the Perth Motorplex earlier this month where he finished second to eventual winner Dayne Kingshott Clarke faces a strong lineup of speedcars this week.

2018 Australian Champion Kaidon Brown has found his mojo and the second generation throttle stomper will relish the chance to get after it following last weekend’s third place finish in Sydney.

Sydney dominator this season Matt Jackson will also be keen to lower Clarke’s colours after finishing second to him at Valvoline Raceway last week.

Moree’s Jason Bell will be looking to race like a boss and South Australian Robert Heard was impressive in his Moore Plant Hire entry last weekend with a top ten finish in a thirty six car field at VR.

Queenslanders know never to underestimate multiple Aussie Compact Speedcar champion Darren Vine and live-wire youngster Rusty Whittaker is another smoky in the field.

Also featuring on tomorrow night’s program is the Ultimate Speedway Challenge for sprintcars and late models.

Wingless sprints and also appear along with fireworks.

Racing starts at 6pm.
