High revved wedding

-

DAVID Hillier and Tanya Sutcliffe took the next step in their relationship when they got married on February 23.

The couple held their wedding ceremony at the Toowoomba Railway Station with their reception at Inbound Brasserie and Cafe.

Mrs Hillier said she wasn’t scared about getting married on the day.

“Because we have been together for so long I was just super excited,” she said.

“Michael and I have known each other for the past 22 years when we met through some mutual friends and have been together for the past five years.”

The couple left on the back on Michael’s motorbike to the reception venue.

“Getting on the back of the motorbike was a bit of a mission with the wedding dress on,” Mrs Hillier said.

The couple had about 60 guests attend their ceremony and their reception.

“We had guests travel from as far as a Blackall where Michael is from,” she said.

“Our wedding cake a delicious two-tiered cake which had a Harley Davidson logo on it with our names on it.

“Having the reception Inbound was awesome. They had done a really good job of everything during the celebrations.”

The couple planned on taking a trip to the Daintree for their honeymoon but had to make last minute changes to their trip.

“Michael ended up getting a new job so we had to cut our trip short and so we went to Hervey Bay instead,” Mrs Hillier said.
