Premium residential development opportunity

-

A PREMIUM residential development opportunity (STCA) close to the Toowoomba CBD, schools and Clifford Garden Shopping Centre is being offered for sale through Ray White Commercial Toowoomba and Century 21 Marsden Realty.

The approximately 4964sq m property (on three titles with two street frontages, Hursley Road and Lendrum Street, at 6-10 Hursley Road, Newtown), is being marketed via Expressions of Interest by Ray White Commercial Toowoomba’s Peter Marks and Century 21 Marsden Realty’s Geoffrey Jordan.

Mr Marks said the site is zoned ‘low medium density residential’ and offers the ability to build up to three levels (STCA).

“There is an opportunity to maximise the development on this site with the two-street frontage,” he said.

“The three titles can be sold in one line while the owner is prepared to sell them individually.

“As Toowoomba continues to grow, land and homes close to the CBD and near key facilities such as shopping centres and schools will become a premium.”

Mr Jordan said future residents in Hursley Road will have services within walking distance while Glennie and Newtown schools are close.

“This development opportunity is approximately 120m from the Gore Highway intersection with Anzac Avenue, and only two kilometres from the Toowoomba CBD, which adds another dimension to the benefits of the site,” he said.

Mr Jordan said Toowoomba offers a lower cost of living and doing business compared to the capital cities, plus a major city lifestyle mixed with country charm.

“Strong infrastructure investment, such as the Wellcamp Airport and Inland Rail Project, is underpinning the positive outlook surrounding Toowoomba and the CBD, and it is becoming the hub of one of Australia’s most attractive regions.”

The Newtown site is being offered for sale by Expressions of Interest, closing on or before 4pm on Friday, March 29, 2019.
