Kids show off latest fashion

-

TOOWOOMBA children are making their fashion-debut modelling on two-metre-high digital runway screens at Grand Central.

The digital runway screens on level one of the Retail Galleria are usually reserved for adults modelling the latest fashion trends in the centre.

But now it’s the children’s turn.

Grand Central marketing manager Marieke Bridgeman said for the first time the centre featured children’s fashion.

“Many people will have seen our digital runway. We regularly do fashion shoots to feature the latest trends and fashion in the centre.

“But this time we thought it would be fun to feature some children’s fashion.

“Most of the kids featured on the runway are from Toowoomba, and they did an amazing job.

“Our team had such fun dressing them in the latest children’s looks and watching them strut the runway.”

The children were dressed in clothing, shoes and accessories from Grand Central retailers Cotton On Kids, Seed Heritage, Love Henry, Country Road, Myer, Platypus, Kmart, Sportsgirl, Target, R.M.Williams, Shoe Warehouse, and Smiggle.

Mecca Maxima also helped to style the children before they hit the runway.

Local production company Thru a Lens Media shot the footage for the digital runway.
