$6m in machinery under the hammer
One of biggest auctions seen in Toowoomba
MORE than $6 million in machinery equipment will go under the hammer next week, in what has been described as one of the biggest auctions of its kind ever held in Toowoomba.
Excavation Equipment Pty Ltd will auction off more than 1000 pieces of construction, agricultural and general equipment across two days on Thursday, March 28 and Friday, March 29.
General manager Catherine Ardi said the auction would put Toowoomba “on the map” for machinery sales.
“We want to bring a huge variety of equipment into the Downs region while still bringing great value to our customers,” Ms Ardi said.
“These events such as a twoday auction aids tourism locally and we’re adamant to put Toowoomba on the map as a machinery sales hot spot for Queensland.”
This is the third auction Excavation Equipment Pty Ltd has held in Toowoomba in conjunction with auction house GraysOnline, the first in June 2016 and the second in September 2018 when more than 390 lots went under the hammer.
Some of the equipment that will go under the hammer includes Caterpillar 140H graders, Komatsu D65 dozers, unused
Caterpillar 308 excavators, Merlo Telehandlers, Moore drop deck trailers, Isuzu water trucks, and smaller plant and machinery for small businesses and the handy person.
