For ‘all she can be’

-

SCHOLARSHIP applications will soon be open at The Glennie School, making a Glennie education more accessible to help as many girls as possible be “all she can be”.

Located in the Garden City of Toowoomba, The Glennie School is a leading Anglican all-girls regional day and boarding school, providing the foundations for girls to adapt and achieve in this ever-changing world.

A range of scholarships, across a variety of categories, is available to girls entering Years 7 and 10 and reflects the supportive and inclusive approach The Glennie School has to girls’ education. Scholarships give part remission off tuition fees and in some cases, part remission for boarding fees may also be provided.

Scholarship categories include academic, boarding, chaplaincy, financial need, Glennie Old Girls’ Association, performing arts (Helene Orton Scholarship), Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association and sports/performance.

Applications for the 2021 school year can soon be made via The Glennie School website. Students are permitted to apply for more than one category, however only one scholarship is awarded per student. Applications will close in early 2020 with testing taking place in February.

Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the principal, for a period of three or four years and, following a successful progress review, are continued until the end of Year 12. Glennie boarding is a dynamic living and learning environment for girls in Years 6 to 12.
