Tickets to support hospice on sale
TICKETS for the Neil Mansell Charity Race Day in aid of the Toowoomba Hospice are on sale, so why not kick off the Spring Racing Carnival on September 7 at Clifford Park Racecourse.
“Yes, you have read it right,” Toowoomba Hospice chairman Graham Barron OAM said. “We are delighted to announce our race day has a new name this year, the ‘Neil Mansell Charity Race Day’ and all the proceeds will continue to come to us.”
The race day is one of the hospice’s major fundraising/social events, with the money raised used to assist the daily operations of this important community facility providing free palliative care for adults.
This year, the hospice has put the call out for some extra sponsorship and Neil Mansell was the first one to jump on board without any hesitation at all and purchased the “platinum” sponsorship.

“The Toowoomba Hospice does such a great job caring for people with a terminal illness and it is a cause close to my heart. Three members of my immediate family have passed away after being diagnosed with cancer. I am only too happy to help the hospice continue to do the great work they do.”

The price includes entry to the races, a complimentary drink upon arrival, canapes and a delicious two-course plated dinner (alternate drop). There will be prizes for best-dressed male, female and couple! You can also dabble in the charity and silent auctions as well as the multi draw raffles.
