SCHOOLS FIGHT OUT CUP HONOURS
BASKETBALL: A hotly contested Armstrong Auto Group Positive Choices Cup for Year 9/10 schoolboys and girls came to a conclusion at the weekend.
Toowoomba Grammar claimed honours in the boys division with a 58-50 defeat of Haristown State High School, with Peter Stonestreet earning MVP honours.
In the girls, St Joseph’s College proved too strong for Toowoomba State High School by a margin of 48-34, with Tarnee Smith named as MVP.
