PICS OF YOUR GREAT DADS
THERE is no doubt dads play a special part in our lives and although we can show them love all year round, Father’s Day is dedicated to celebrating all that they do.
The Chronicle asked readers to share photos of their dads along with a message about what makes them the greatest.
We were flooded with responses and all photos sent to us by 9am yesterday which included all relevant information, made it to our online gallery.
We’ve also selected a range of images to feature here as well.
Children shared photos of themselves with their dad, their dad with their grandchildren, and dads who had passed away.
Samantha Porter sent in a photo of her partner Carl Porter with their daughter Lily captioning it: “Lily says ‘my daddy is the best because he is silly like me’.”
Letisha Ries shared a happy snap of herself and her dad Wayne Miller: “No matter the problem, dad is always there to fix it. He would do anything for anyone. We love and appreciate everything he does.”
It was her step-dad John Fulton that Kiri Tzvetkoff showered with praise: “He is the best dad because he goes above and beyond to help absolutely anybody who needs it. He’s an amazing man!”
Sarah Clayton described her dad Bruce Pobar as one-in-amillion: “He is the best daddio ever. He would do absolutely anything for his children or his grandchildren. He always goes above and beyond for everyone. He is certainly one in a million and we would be lost without him.”
Francis Nisperos Jr was named after his dad Francis Nisperos Sr and said: “He taught me how to become a good father and a good provider. I always walked beside him at the rice farm, he’s nearly 70 now but is still working 10 hours a day under the sun.”
We hope all dads out there have a wonderful Father’s Day tomorrow.
