Race 1: The favourite Wall Street Tycoon was easy to lay at $3 Real Patriot was impossible to lay and the bookies were $3.70 at jump time with no takers. The winner Molly’s Rocking was $6 on track and no real takers. There was a phone bet of $400, best tote on the winner and one bookie started off on the wrong leg.

Race 2: A good betting race here. The early favourite Secondofma­y went into the book at $3.50. There was fair eachway bets for Accountant and Tequila Boom. Maddiara was the big shortner off track and the money came back to the track at $4, with a phone bet of $1000 each way at the $4. The winner Victory Toast was $13 into $11 with no money on track.

Race 3: Here there was specking for Counter Meal at $12 and Love And Lies at $11. Okanagan Miss was $4.20 and no money. The winner and favourite Bogey Man was $2.80 into $2.60 on the QOP. The track bookies bet $3 freely.

Race 4: A non-betting race and there was small money for most of the runners. Aladina was hard to put in the book and bookies were $3 with little takers. The bookies reported a break-square race.

Race 5: Early specking for Quite Easily at $51. Little Natural saw money at $14 Buzzer Beater was baked each-way at $9 and was scratched at the barrier. The favourite and winner Boom Rocker was easy to lay at $2 and the race experience shone through.

Race 6: The favourite in I’m Calllin’ Dibs was easy to lay on track at $2.50. Real Sweet was backed at $4 and there was one phone bet of $1000 at the $4. The winner in Rapido Gris saw little money at the $3.70 and when the runners came to the turn Ron Goltz blew the whistle and home he sailed for an easy win.

Race 7: There was plenty of fire works. All the early money was on American Crown with cash bets each way at $3.50 and a good phone bet of $800 eachway at $3.20. There was specking for Nulladane at $21. Our Boy Borris saw no support and was $4.60 on track and no takers. The winner Lilli Lights Out was $5.50 into $4.20 on the QOP and no real money back to the track. Bookies went home small winners.
