TJRL FINALS WRAP UP
RUGBY LEAGUE: The curtain came down on the 2019 Toowoomba Junior Rugby League season in style at the weekend.
In a show of the talent spread across the board, the seven titles were distributed among six different clubs.
Highfields (U14s) and Gatton (U17s) etched their place in history as the first TJRL girls premiers.
Southern Suburbs took out the U16s decider with a 26-22 victory over Highfields.
The Tigers scored three tries in less than nine minutes to claim the last-ditch win over the Eagles to cap off a thrilling day of rugby league at Clive Berghofer Stadium.

Red Lion continued its dominance of the J1 boys competition, winning its fourth-straight title, while Past High upset Rangeville in the J1 girls decider.
