BEST OF SPORT: The Toowoomba Football League junior season wrapped up recently with some thrilling grand finals.

Some of the region’s best young soccer players put their skills to the test, but the question is how far would they have gone without the support of a dedicated coach.

With that in mind The

Chronicle is looking for the TFL’s best junior soccer coach.

Our Best of Series is all about honouring the passion and dedication we see on and off the field at all levels of the game.

It can be a coach involved with any junior soccer team, and it’s not all about who made the finals, has the best record or greatest team.

It’s all about passion and dedication.

Now it’s up to you – our readers – to nominate your favourite junior soccer coach. To nominate head to The

Chronicle’s Facebook and find the relevant post.

Nominations – which close on Wednesday, September 18 at 10am – must include the full name of the coach, their team and a brief description of why they were nominated.

Once nominations are in, our sports team will compile a premium article with the list of nominees, and create a poll which people can vote in.

This poll will run for two days.

A list of the nominees will also run in the newspaper, directing people online to vote for their favourite volunteer football coach.

Once voting closes, votes will be tallied and the winner announced.

The winner will feature in an article in print, on our website and Facebook page.
