Business excellence to be celebrated this weekend

- LOUISE VENZ Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce

IT’S almost time for the 2019 Heritage Bank Business Excellence Awards Gala Dinner.

Toowoomba Chamber is once again delighted to be hosting the Toowoomba business community’s night of nights.

It’s a time for businesses of all sizes to come together and celebrate our region, our businesses and what sets us apart from the rest.

The black-tie, red carpet affair is a celebration of business excellence across our Toowoomba region, recognising businesses of all sizes and sectors. The diversity of our economy is one of Toowoomba’s many strengths and the gala awards dinner is a great way to meet with and hear from leading businesses as they showcase their achievements.

The Business Excellence Awards are designed to recognise both emerging and established business leaders and celebrate the success of local businesses from every sector.

Business conditions this year have been especially tough for our region, with the effects of the drought being felt in our community – so it is especially rewarding to hear of so many local businesses persevering to ultimately achieve success in their business.

The awards are a highlight of the Toowoomba Chamber calendar and give our members and businesses the opportunity to assess and tale stock of what they and their staff have achieved throughout the year. Be there as we announce the category finalists and winners and unveil the Best Regional Business, Future Leader of the Year, 2019 Hall of Fame Inductee and the biggest award, the Heritage Bank Business of the Year.

Toowoomba Chamber is delighted to have introduced a new category this year, the Employer of Choice award kindly sponsored by Focus HR, which recognises businesses leading the way in attracting and retaining staff in our competitive employment market.

Join the Toowoomba Chamber, Heritage Bank and all of our sponsors at The Goods Shed this Saturday, October 12, and celebrate the innovation, diversity and leadership of our vibrant business community.

Tickets for this premier annual event are limited, if you haven’t already registered contact the Chamber office today.
