Free tyre-changing workshop in Toowoomba

-

A TOOWOOMBA business is helping people come to grips with the art of motor vehicle maintenance, with a free interactive workshop tonight.

Ahead of the holiday season, two JAX Tyres franchisees in Toowoomba are urging the community to upskill their tyre knowledge by attending a free interactive workshop.

Aussies of all ages, particularly female and young drivers, do not always understand basic car and tyre maintenance.

According to JAX Tyres’ 2019 Road Safety Report, 32% of female drivers feel they are not confident in changing a tyre and 26% of 18-24 year-old Australians admit to not being familiar with key car maintenance checks.

In a bid to educate the community and myth-bust common tyre misconceptions, Steve and Jenni Berlin and the JAX Tyres Toowoomba team will host an evening workshop to give local residents the knowledge they need to ensure that changing tyres and vehicle maintenance is no longer a daunting task.

The educational evening will give locals both theoretical and practical takeaways covering how to check your engine’s oil, water and fluid levels; where to locate important info on your tyre and what does it all mean; the 101 in best practice tyre maintenance and; how to change your own tyre practically and safely.

The workshop will be held at JAX Tyres Toowoomba tonight from 6-7.30 at 322 James St, Toowoomba.

Limited spaces are available. RSVP to secure your spot at www.eventbrite.com.au/e/jax-tyres-toowoombas-vehicle-introduction-andtraining-night-tickets85049554507.
