Media bias

-

IF ever there was a glaring example of left-wing media bias, it has come to the fore in recent weeks.

Firstly the poor souls got their feelings hurt when the PM did not give them a full briefing about his planned holiday break.

Secondly, they chose to hound him and blame him for everything (as perceived by them), to be lacking in the bushfire fighting effort.

Weeks later, at almost every opportunity we get reminded that the PM took a holiday, and to Hawaii (if that has anything to do with things).

That is despite the fact that it was, and is, a State responsibility. It has been reported – only once that I’ve seen, that the Victorian Premier was on holiday until December 30.

I wonder if that escaped their notice – or did it not fit the narrative they were working to?

Meanwhile we had such top notch reporting as, quote – “The Hercules 737, dropping fire retardant”, while a Boeing 737 dropped red retardant north of Sydney, in the background.

The very next day, on a different channel, with a RAAF Hercules as background, the reporter proceeded to talk about it being a jet aircraft. They would have been briefed on these things, but still can’t get it right.

The ABC, in their usual manner, grabbed some obscure American (probably happened to be walking past at the time), to talk about global warming, on their noon news.

If it wasn’t so serious it would be funny.

The same environmentalists (or their offspring), who forced their “protect the habitat/no fire mitigation policies” on successive State Governments, have now caused the destruction of untold numbers of native animals and vast forest areas.

But of course that will not faze them, as they can now blame global warming and the Federal Government.

God help us.
