Heritage wins top award for products

TOOWOOMBA’S Heritage Bank has one of the best value savings accounts in the country, according to the 2020 Mozo Experts Choice Awards.

Mozo announced Heritage’s Online Saver account as a winner in the Kick Start Savings category.

Winners in this category are recognised for offering up the best combination of rates within the first year, helping savers start off on the right foot.

Mozo Experts Choice Awards are judged by senior and experienced Mozo experts, based on custom built inhouse research and analysis capabilities.

Heritage Bank CEO Peter Lock welcomed the award, calling it an endorsement of the company’s products.

“As a bank that’s owned by its customers, our focus is on providing on them with genuine value and great banking experiences,” he said.

“They place their trust in us to support them in their financial journey, so it’s fantastic to receive this recognition from Mozo.

“It shows that we’re delivering and helping people get a head start with their savings.”

Mozo director Kirsty Lamont said the awards showcased providers who outperformed their competitors in delivering a great product to customers.

“Heritage Bank was awarded one of the top awards for great introductory rates based on their return after the first 12 months,” she said.

“Heritage Bank won after being compared with 25 savings accounts from 24 providers, which is no small feat.

“This award is a true reflection of the outstanding products and value that Heritage Bank offers its customers.”
