Historic hotel for sale on the outskirts of South Toowoomba

-

RAY White Commercial Toowoomba’s Geoff Percy has been appointed as the marketing agent for the freehold sale of the Bull & Barley Inn at Cambooya.

Situated in the heart of Cambooya, just off the New England Highway, the Bull & Barley Inn is a pub steeped in history that has managed to retain its character and charm.

First established in 1902, what was initially known as the Cambooya Railway Hotel was one of three hotels in town before being changed to the Bull and Barley Inn in 1978 and becoming the area’s lone pub.

The property includes a main bar, indoor and outdoor dining areas, a separate room with pool table and jukebox, and seven accommodation rooms.

The public bar is situated at the front of the hotel with direct access to the outside dining areas, which have a capacity of 50 people.

The indoor dining areas consist of two separate rooms seating 30 to 40 patrons each.

Other features include a modern kitchen with walk-in cool room and pantry, while the seven accommodation rooms are made up of two twin rooms, one family room and four double rooms (all of which are equipped with quality linen and furnishings).

The existing owners of the hotel have acquired the block on the eastern side and have produced concept plans for significant expansion of the business.

This is currently not included in the sale price of the hotel but could be acquired by a potential purchaser.

Selling agent Geoff Percy of Ray White Commercial Toowoomba said the venue was being offered in “excellent condition”. For more information, please email or phone Geoff on 0438 424 672.
