Wednesday 23rd September the ladies played an 18 Hole Stroke in conjunctio­n with the September Monthly Medal. Winner of the Monthly Medal and Div 2 was Kathy Fenton with a 70 Nett. Runner up and winner of Div 1 was Hazel Harvey with a 73 Nett. Winner of the front 9 was Yvonne Lebeter with 17pts and the back 9 winner was Marlene Deans with 20pts. Pin on No 3 was won by Joan Fisk and the Pin on No 12 which is donated by Andrew King was won by Yvonne Lebeter. Next Wednesday 30 September the ladies will play an 18 Hole Stableford. Winner of the Thursday Sporters was won by John Grawich and the pin was won by Brian Milverton. Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September the members played an 18 Hole Stableford with the winner being Mervyn Brown with 37 pts on a cb. Runner up was Patrick Fisk with 37pts. Run downs went to John O’Keefe 35, Terris Muir 35 and Marlene Deans with 34. Winner of the pins were No 3 John O’Keefe, No 8 Patrick Fisk, 5/14 which is donated by the Barn was won by Doug Fisk and No 12 which is donated by Andrew King was won by Andrew King. Final of the Men’s Matchplay was played today between John O’Keefe and Patrick Fisk. Patrick won 4/3 congratula­tions Patrick. Social Bowls will be played again this Thursday afternoon from 12-15pm to 3pm. New players are most welcome. We will still be social distancing and Sanitising.

Friday night the 2nd of October, we have quite a few players playing at T.I.B.A. Annand Street. Please be there by 645pm. Anyone wishing to play, please see Margaret on Thursday afternoon.

We had 32 people at Bowls on Friday night. It was a very enjoyable night. This Friday night, we are playing in teams of four. If you are not in a team and you want a game, please come along and. We will make up teams to suit. Social distancing, sanitising. And all precaution­s will be in place.

REMEMBER: If you have any flu like symptoms, please do not attend. Please be there by 6-45pm for a 7pm start.

Thursday Last 24th Sept Pat Talbot d M.Hughes in a closely contested Final of the Consistenc­y Singles. Congratula­tions both ladies a very good game. This week 1st and the following week 8th Social Bowls will be played. This is an ideal opportunit­y for new ladies to try their skills and for present members to have a stressless game of bowls. Thur 15th Graded and Drawn three bowl pairs will be played. Names in or out by 4pm wed 14th. Thur 22 a Trophy Day will be held followed by lunch and a committee meeting. Helpers are required for Town and Country 7th Oct. Also on this day Pat Talbot and Mary Hughes will be competing in the DDLBA Pairs. We wish these ladies the best of luck and good bowling. The closest matches of the round saw Rod Evans 3 – 56 v Jake Thiele 2 – 54 and Scott Maroske 3 – 48 v David Falk 2 – 46. The closest games were between John Grinham 17 v Gavin Mingay 15, Chris MacColl 17 v John Whiteside 15 and Macca 15 v Shane Johnstone 13.
