Heritage Bank provides $2000 boost for first home buyers

-

FIRST home buyers keen to enter the property market can now get $2000 back in their pockets thanks to a limited time offer from Heritage Bank.

From October 1, Heritage is offering $2000 cash back for first home buyers on eligible Heritage Bank home loans with Lenders Mortgage Insurance.

The level of first homebuyer lending at Heritage has started to rebound in the last few months, after dropping significantly in the period immediately after the COVID pandemic hit.

CEO Peter Lock said the special offer added to the already compelling case for first home buyers to consider Heritage for their home loan, especially in the COVID environment.

“Buying your first home is a huge financial commitment, made even tougher at the moment because of the impacts of COVID.

“Whether you’re looking to buy a home to live in, or as a means to set yourself up for the future, a helping hand is extremely valuable for first-time buyers,” Mr Lock said.

“This cashback offer provides a boost specifically for first home buyers requiring Lenders Mortgage Insurance and is available to both owner-occupier and investors.

“It’s a great kickstart for people getting into the market.”

Heritage Bank’s First Home Buyer Cashback Offer is available on a range of fixed rate and variable home loans, giving eligible borrowers the option to access features such as: no monthly or redraw fees free online redraw facility optional offset account, and the ability to make increased or lump sum payments.

“As a customer-owned bank, we genuinely pride ourselves on supporting our members’ financial needs at all stages of life,” Mr Lock said.

“We offer extremely sharp pricing on top of our fantastic personalised service, which makes us an excellent overall package for home buyers to consider.”

Heritage Bank’s outstanding service continues to win international acclaim, receiving the highest score in Australia for customer satisfaction in global research firm J.D. Power’s 2020 Australia Retail Banking Satisfaction Study in September.

The accolade follows Heritage being named number one bank in Australia by international business magazine Forbes in their World’s Best Bank list in June.
