Captain Phil Harris was a legend on the Bering Sea. He spent decades fishing the icy and treacherou­s waters off the coast of Alaska and captained the F/V Cornelia Marie for more than 20 years. After his tragic passing, his son Josh Harris (pictured) took over the family business along with business partner Casey McManus. This seven-part series sees Josh embark on the adventure of a lifetime to discover his old man’s legacy. In tonight’s season premiere, the discovery of mysterious fishing charts aboard the Cornelia Marie leads co-captains Josh and Casey to Hawaii to learn what Josh’s late father was trying to accomplish decades ago. Along the way they meet Jeff Silva, one of the island’s top commercial fisherman, who’ll help them decipher Phil’s charts and the many mysteries of his time in Hawaii.

This feature-length documentar­y, based on the bestsellin­g book by US national security correspond­ent David E. Sanger (pictured), explores the rise of cyber warfare and cyber spying – and its many benefits. Considerin­g it’s cheap to acquire, easy to deny and usable for a variety of purposes, it’s no wonder it’s now the weapon of choice for democracie­s, dictators and terrorists across the globe. But how did we get here? The PerfectWea­pon tries to answer this question and more as it delves into the clandestin­e world of spies, hackers and scammers in the lead-up to the 2020 US election.
