Triple treat for tourists out west

-

THE St George Region has launched the 2021 tourist season with a bang, debuting a new-look Travellers’ Guide, its first official visitor information website, and an exciting giveaway for some very lucky holiday-makers.

This triple treat of visitor-centric products marks the dawn of a new era for tourism in the St George region.

A refreshed travellers’ guide and state of the art website, complete with new branding and updated information, showcases the best of all seven towns and the wide variety of activities on offer to tourists.

A special giveaway for the first 500 travellers to visit the St George Visitor Information Centre has also been kickstarted to welcome tourists to the region.

Travellers who stop into the St George Visitor Information Centre and say “I’ll be your mate” will be gifted a special Welcome Mate pack, including a $20 Buy Balonne gift card, exclusive discount vouchers for local outlets, St George region souvenirs and plenty of useful information.

Mayor Samantha O’Toole was excited to personally launch the new products and remind potential visitors why they should choose the St George region.

“Our region is so beautiful and inviting, with plenty to see and do, which is why I invite all of our friends from the big cities to make that road trip and stay a while,” she said.

“We are open for business, and I guarantee you will have an unforgettable holiday when you come to the St George region.”

The Welcome Mate competition will run until all Welcome Mate packs are gone.
