• I like David Littleproud’s call about the Roe v Wade decision, consideration should be given to adoption over abortion, depending on the circumstances. There are many couples unable to have children who would love to adopt.

• Well said Jay KS. Council, hands off Freyling Park. There is danger in donating land to a government or council. Beware!

• Congratulations to wonderful inter-school equestrian competitors at the showgrounds this week. I admire your stamina in a cold winter! Also thanks to school staff and coaches.

How do you suggest people cope with the rising cost of living by holding their wages down?

NJW

• Some people are suggesting that we solve the energy shortage by going nuclear. Sure, we will probably need nuclear energy in about 5 billion years time when the sun is no longer a stable star, but until then we can make full use of solar power.

Dave, Twmba Dbt

• CSIRO, what are they doing, why aren’t they working full time on clean coal power? Then there is wave power? All that Free energy going to waste.
