BEHIND THE SCENES

- WITH JONATHON MORAN

JESS EVA

The radio host from Triple M Breakfast with MG, Jess and Pagey reveals the act that turns her into a crazy woman

Who is your most relatable Disney character and why?

Probably Donald Duck because I had a lisp growing up and I don’t like to wear pants.

What’s the wackiest celebrity gossip about you that you’ve heard?

Norm and I always get introduced to people as winners of The Block 2018 when we, in fact, came last.

Would you have plastic surgery? Botox?

I’m scared of knives so wouldn’t go under the scalpel.

Tell us something the public genuinely would not know about you.

I studied international business majoring in law, but dropped out after five weeks to work in a bakery.

When was the last time you cried and why?

Last week. I’m hormonal and a guy beeped at me when a red light turned green. I was a crazy woman.

If you weren’t doing radio, what would you be doing now for a career?

I genuinely love to work with disadvantaged kids. I am planning on fostering when we finally buy a house here in Sydney (if we ever do) and I worked at an orphanage in India for 12 months.

What would you do if you won $20m?

It’s a bit lonely being rich, I reckon. I’d share it and love a less financially pressured life with friends and family.

Do you have any irrational fears?

I can’t handle the sound of snoring. It turns me into a crazy woman.

Do you believe in ghosts?

Yes! The house we live in was a deceased estate and the elderly couple loved it here. There’s still a few of their belongings under the house that the family left behind and he built the place with his bare hands. There’s a cafe door in the kitchen and every now and again it rocks back and forward. I’m saying that the house is old and there’s a lot of holes. But I think it is them!

If you had a super power, what would it be and why?

I’d love to make people see who they really are. So many good people have negative opinions of themselves. For some reason we are blind to our own gorgeous traits and focus on negative perceptions that sometimes don’t exist. It’s emotionally debilitating. I’d love to just point some kind of stick or wand and take that away.

What is your absolute blowout meal? KFC Wicked Wings meal, upsized with extra salt on the chips and a Pepsi Max … always get the Pepsi Max so you can tell yourself you’re on a diet!

Triple M Breakfast with MG, Jess and Pagey, 6-9am weekdays on Sydney’s 104.9 Triple M
