State’s most mystifying missing person cases
A NEW Farm tree lopper who visited an ATM and vanished and a mother-of-three last seen at a Christian outreach revival meeting – they are among the hundreds of long-term missing persons cases in Queensland that continue to plague police.
Here are the mysterious cases of missing people on the Darling Downs:
BARBARA TROUGHTON
Barbara Troughton was last seen on January 27, 2016 at her residence in Newtown.
It is believed Barbara left the residence on foot and has not made contact with family members since, which is very much out of character.
Investigations into Barbara’s whereabouts have failed to locate her and there are grave concerns for her welfare and safety.

ELLISHA TICEHURST
Ellisha Ticehurst, also known as Ellisha, Allisha or Elly.
Ellisha is transgender and was formally known as Alan Ticehurst.
Ellisha was last seen by her family in August 1997 in the Laidley area, possibly heading to Darwin.
Ellisha would frequently go for lengthy periods of time without contacting family however would always attend important family events and has failed to do so.

KERRY MACKAY
Kerry Mackay was last seen at the Wondai Road Caravan Park Chinchilla, Queensland at 7.15am on February 27, 2003.
Kerry attended the Chinchilla showgrounds and collected her dog and four pet birds.
She was believed to be travelling to Dalby but has not been seen since.
She was driving a white 1990 Toyota Corolla hatchback Queensland Registration 960FTH.

STEVEN FULLER
Steven Fuller was last seen on or about March 1, 2015 at an address in Lowood.
Steven is believed to be a diabetic and may be taking antidepressants.
He has no fixed place of abode and left all his belongings in a bag at a residence in Lowood, including his medication. His family are concerned regarding the whereabouts and health of Steven as it is out of character for him to be out of contact for such a long period of time.

Steven Goldsmith last seen on or about July 10, 2000 at his residence at New Farm.
When his friends did not hear from him in the following three weeks they reported him missing.
Steven was employed as a tree surgeon in Toowoomba.

TERRENCE LLOYD
Terrence Lloyd was last seen on November 24, 2015 in Goondiwindi.
He is believed to have travelled to NSW, as his vehicle was located near Pilliga Forest about 150km south from Narrabri, NSW.
Terrence has not been in contact with family or friends since that time and there are concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
