• Brandishing a knife at police while shouting obscenities has earned a man a two month jail sentence, this is a recording released immediately, how does a sentence of this nature give the police service any incentive?

• I thank God that I’m not homeless, especially during these freezing nights. Why am I not homeless? Because we scrimped and saved for many, many years to pay off our home.

• Would it be possible to move the huts from Wellcamp to Freyling Park, better here more access to facilities.

• We are being plastered with adverts by Labor Govt justifying a tax on coal saying how good this is for Queenslanders although they promised no new taxes. Meanwhile they refuse to approve stage 3 acland project. The arrogance of the Palaczszak Govt who continue to treats voters like first class fools is unbelievable.

• Unemployment drop due to the Morrison LNP Govt policies as too early and no policies in place yet by the Albanese Labor Govt.

•Re SMS 15/7. It’s not just Ruthven and Russell Sts. The council seems to have programmed every set of lights to reduce traffic flow. Even in the early hours or late at night the lights change for no reason. Maybe there’s a kickback from the fuel companies due to the amount wasted sitting at the lights … • UniSQ. I too agree that people will think it is a new uni. I bet Eton, Yale and Harvard etc hundreds of years old don’t change their traditional qualities every so many years. They are institutions based on preserving their dignity and longevity. USQ should concentrate on their teaching and inclusiveness without all this misguided name and logo changing. Another who agrees and many more I am sure ‘ if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’.
