The Home and Away actor reveals why a lioness is her spirit animal …

- WITH JONATHON MORAN

What three things would be at the top of your bucket list if you were to have one?

Travel to Europe and New Zealand, write and release an album, have an art exhibition in a gallery and run a marathon (I love running). Whoops, that’s four!

What would you tell your 10-year-old self today?

You’re amazing and I love you. Everything will be okay, just keep going.

What is your favourite karaoke song?

Etta James’ At Last, or any Amy Winehouse song

Have you had any operations? Broken bones?

Fun fact, I’ve never broken a bone in my body! Now I’ve jinxed myself haven’t I?

If you could transport yourself anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

Back to Melbourne to visit my friends and family for a weekend.

Are you ticklish?

Very ticklish, don’t even get me started. Everywhere really but mostly on my tummy! Ahhh!

Do you have any irrational fears?

I am so scared of going on theme park rides because I’m scared they will break. Been watching too much Final Destination. I don’t think it’s very irrational but my family seems to thinks so.

What is your spirit animal and why?

I love lionesses, they are so majestic and powerful and when I think about harnessing their energy I feel more confident in myself.

What makes you anxious?

Lots of things. It’s really important for me to do practices like yoga, breath work and meditation to calm my mind and connect back to my body to help with my anxiety. Also, Sydney traffic – everyone’s a maniac on the road!

If you weren’t acting, what would you be doing now for a career?

I wish I could do so many things, maybe that’s why I’m an actor. Musician or drawer/ painter – I love art. Also psychology, I love learning about the brain and human behaviour and I love the idea of helping people manage their mental health.
