Politicians aren’t geniuses, most don’t have climate, medical, technical knowledge, etc, so why are they making decisions that they don’t understand. DBT

Highfields is indeed a growing area, the land is there and it's a case of build it and they will come, from down south that is. Far cry from the corner shop, church and piggery that it once was and of course it needs its share of council funding. But we must not forget some roads they use to travel away locally, work, shop medical etc and these roads are not in Highfields itself. but used by those residents, and are damaged and potholed and need repair so other communities can travel safely as well.

Members of parliament who are Indigenous are elected to represent their electorate, regardless of racial or cultural background. Many of them also belong to a political party and are bound by the rules of their party. The Voice provides an opportunity for Indigenous people to be heard directly when it comes to matters affecting them.

Another example of the current state Labor government wasting money. The glossy brochure telling us about the changes coming for land tax which I’m sure comes at a cost to taxpayers. Problem is they’ve jumped the gun again because the other states wouldn’t come on board. Do they ever think before doing something? Seems to me like it is easy come easy go. Make them accountable at the next election.
