TOOWOOMBA is full of fun events for all the family to enjoy.

From fundraiser launches and fight nights to melon festivals and grape stomping, here’s everything happening in the Darling Downs this weekend.

1. Hike to Heal

Make a difference and take part in an unforgetta­ble adventure at the Hike to Heal scavenger hunt.

Launching at 8.30am on Saturday at Mt Peel in Westbrook, the hike is a scavenger hunt event with fun riddles and photo challenges to solve along the way.

Raising funds and awareness for Momentum Health, the event was designed to highlight the importance of mental health support services in the region and prevent suicide.

Tickets are $15 per person, $40 per teams of four or $80 per teams of 10. For more informatio­n visit hiketoheal.org.

2. Beer Brawl

Choose your fighter wisely and cheer them on at Mouseproof Brewery on Saturday night.

Teaming up with medieval fight club Tyr’s Warriors, the venue will host Fight Knight XIX: The Beer Brawl.

Fights will start from 7.30pm at 57 Brook St, North Toowoomba.

Tickets are $26 and can be purchased online at eventbrite.com.au

3. Grape Stomp

Stomp for a very worthy cause this weekend when the Rosalie House Cellar Door Restaurant hosts its annual Charity Grape Stomp.

Starting at 2pm on Sunday, the event will take place at 135 Lavenders Rd, Lilyvale.

Tickets are $50 and includes grape stomping, live music, wine tasting, a picnic on the lawn and a digital photograph.

4. Big Brekky

Gather around the barbecue for a feed and feel inspired at The Big Brekky event this weekend.

Hosted by the New Hope Church, the event is designed for men of all ages to spend the morning with likeminded people and enjoy a delicious breakfast of course.

The Big Brekky event will start at 7.30am on Saturday and be held at 12 Peace St.

Tickets are $15 per adult or $10 per concession and can be purchased online at newhope.org.au

5. Grand opening

Check out the grand opening of the new Vinnies op-shop store at 691 Ruthven St, South Toowoomba.

Find hidden vintage treasures and a bargain or two at the brand new space on Saturday, from 8.30am to 4pm.

6. Heritage tour

Discover the rich history of the region and vintage locomotive­s at the DownsSteam Tourist Railway and Museum’s Super Saturday event.

Enjoy a free heritage tour in The Drayton Dart bus around Drayton or inspect the venue’s railmotors and class cars.

The museum at 16 Cambooya St, Drayton will be open from 9am to 3pm.

Entry is $5 per person.

7. Wedding Expo

Plan the wedding of your dreams at the Your Local Wedding Guide Toowoomba Expo this weekend.

Running from 10am to 2pm on Sunday. the expo will be held at The Goods Shed at 3 Victoria St.

8. Melon Festival

Celebrate everyone’s favourite fruit – the watermelon – at the world’s biggest Melon Festival on Saturday.

Every two years the masses trek to Chinchilla, which is known as the Melon capital of Australia for the weekend-long event.

Open from 8am Saturday and concluding at 5pm on Sunday, the festival is at Heeney St, Chinchilla.

9. Twilight Markets

Enjoy the Twilight Markets in the Cattle Sheds at the Pittsworth Showground­s this weekend.

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Pittsworth, the markets will be held at the showground­s on Factory St, on Saturday, from 2pm to 7pm.

A variety of stalls, food and drink vendors will be available on the day.

10. Fruit picking

Fill a basket with fresh and delicious fruit when the Eastern Colour farm opens up its doors to the public for the first time this season.

Open from 9am to 1pm on Saturday and Sunday, the farm is at 244 Aerodrome Rd. Entry is free.
