Business booming after sale

-

ONE of Toowoomba’s most popular restaurants is clearing up any rumours over its thriving position on the city’s restaurant food chart.

When the brand Hello Harry was bought by HH IP Holdings in February, residents were worried what it could mean for the Toowoomba restaurant in urban food precinct Walton Stores.

However, its franchisee Jaime Thomas said it was business as usual.

“We’re thrilled with the response we’ve had from the locals and so grateful for their patronage,” she said.

“Nothing has changed. I’ve been the manager from the start (and) there was no major shake-up.”

HH IP Holdings co-director Rob McCue was drawn to the opportunity to buy Hello Harry because he said it was a brand with high-quality products at an exceptional price point.

Mrs Thomas is originally from Toowoomba and returned for the franchise opportunity.

“It’s a town that has evolved over the years,” she said.

“We loved the concept of Walton Stores and fell in love with the brand. Hello Harry is proud to be a contributing part of this successful precinct.”
