CENTURY21 is teaming up with Property Connect to bring LiveOffer to Australia — an online and mobile phone platform ideal for taking complexity out of leasing your home.

A PLATFORM ideal for renters and those renting out their property could soon be seen in Australia.

This past week, ASX-listed prop-tech company Property Connect appointed Century21 Australiasia owner Charles Tarbey as chairman.

Century21 has also agreed to a trial of Property Connect’s LiveOffer platform.

This platform’s mission is to take the complexity out of renting.

Designed by real estate veterans, this tool allows renters to control move-in dates, lease terms and negotiate price online or on mobile phone.

The team behind this tool focus on creating a better experience for renters and property managers, and hence quicker turn-around times for property owners to have their house leased out.

Property Connect LiveOffer has been successful in the US since 2012, and Property Connect chief executive Tim Manson is keen to bring it to Australia.

“We believe our LiveOfferTM offering directly translates to the Australian market and we are pleased to have made these significant steps towards establishing our presence in Australia,” Mr Manson said.

Mr Manson said Mr Tarbey is an industry leader and his appointment as chairman is a further validation of the company’s technology.

“Charles’ vast experience and unique insights into real estate markets will help Property Connect develop and refine its offering, technology and strategy,” he said.

To begin with, Property Connect and Century21 are finalising terms for a trial of the technology at select Century21 offices in Victoria and Western Australia, starting in April.
