Flynn warned not to take money

- — New York Post

DONALD Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, was warned by the US Defence Intelligence Agency in 2014 against accepting foreign payments as he entered retirement, according to documents that contradict an account by his lawyer. The retired general was paid about $60,000 for a speech he gave to Russian propaganda network RT in December 2015 and received $710,000 from a Turkish businessman linked to Turkey’s government for consulting work. “These documents raise grave questions about why General Flynn concealed the payments he received from foreign sources after he was warned explicitly by the Pentagon,” Elijah Cummings, the top Democrat on the House oversight committee, said in a statement.
